I'm going to be pinned down in my apartment by Unforgiving Cold tomorrow, so I need to turn that into Ass In Chair time and write a thing.

I've spent the last day playing pokemon Y because i had nothing better to do and didn't feel like writing I'm a terrible person, but I just beat Lysander and am back on track to be Champion of Kalos! I'm also now stylish enough to get into Boutique Couture in Lumiose \o/?

Aww yeeeeeah, Pokemon Y!

I ... just restarted . o.o;; But I feel really positive about this game! My Quilladin is badass! My Charmeleon is badass! My Sylveon (once I get her) will be badass!

(And I haven't blown loads of Pokebucks on Lumiose fashions yet, which is always a plus)

I...spent $100,000 on a really cute top. And I have to keep using the cab because i can't ever find anything in the blasted city. And then I got my hair cut and styled. But whatever, I'm totally adorable.

I want to join the pokemon party but I don't have a 3DS! D:
I want a girl Fennekin and a Sylveon, I want the X version because Mewtwo looks awesome (among other things I like about the X version) and and... and I got myself other things for christmas insted, hmmm, I need more money xD

Can you look around for used 3DSs? If you can get one from a reputable shop, you'll probably save a good bit of money.

Be prepared to restart a few times if you want your Fennekin to be a girl. Like all starters, you'll only have a 13% chance of getting a female. That's how the game throttles potential breeding, but people who get female starters breed them like crazy and then flood the trades anyway, so I don't know why they still keep the skewed gender ratio.

Getting a Sylveon is easy! Once you catch your Eevee, make sure she's got a Fairy-type move (and she will if she's under level 20 or over level 29) then spoil her rotten in Pokemon Amie and level up!

I picked Y, because Yveltal looks totally metal and Spritzee is adorable. And because Mega Charizard Y looks badass, although you can't really go wrong with either Mega Charizard.

It's a lot of fun! If you can get it for cheap, do it. But it really is a lot of money to spend D:
